Business Development Representative

We are hiring a Business Development Representative to drive the pipeline & help cultivate new customers for SLOPE’s high growth trajectory. You will report to the Director of Sales and be responsible for lead generation & future business opportunities. This position is full time/remote and will require previous business development & lead generation experience. The right candidate for this position will have a “can do” attitude & possess a persistent desire to be successful. 


Some of the responsibilities for this role will be the following:

  • Support Sales Directors in setting initial meetings with prospects
  • Engage prospects through outbound sales calls, emails & social media channels
  • Leverage sales tools to maximize outreach to the addressable market
  • Work with Sales & Marketing to establish call/email sequences and marketing campaigns
  • Evaluate & pre-qualify leads through web research
  • Maintain data integrity & activity records
  • Follow industry trends and news to direct the sales teams towards potential business opportunities

Preferred Experience

  • Enthusiasm for Sales & 2+ years of experience in a client facing role
  • Insurance industry knowledge (preferred)
  • TEAM Player
  • Strong ability to handle objections & immediately provide value to a prospect
  • Superior critical thinking skills & an ability to adapt to any sales environment
  • Experience in SaaS Sales (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Sales tools: Hubspot, Zoom, Zoom Info, Excel (preferred)
